[Ricky A. Swaczy] biography
Co-Founder of WabiSabiCulture scholar and practitioner of Rime Tibetan Buddhism with special dedication to the Kalacakra Tantra has led and completed extensive and intensive meditation retreats.
He received instruction in various schools and lineages by Geshe Jampa Gyatso, by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, by His Holiness Sakya Trizin, by Khenpo Kunga Sherab Saljay Rinpoche, by the Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh and is currently under the spiritual guidance of Lama Khube Rinpoche and Ven. Abbot Jhado Tulku Rinpoche.
Devoted to meditation and on the advice of Lama Khube Rinpoche began in 2009 to lead practice groups sharing Anapanasati mindfulness on breathing, this meditation practice taught by Siddhartha Gautama the Buddha more than 2500 years ago, is particularly suited to pacify the mind and harmonize removing anxieties and tensions.
Research and a natural aptitude for art and aesthetics led him to the study of Japanese tradition in his expression of Wabi Sabi and the related Meditative Arts with Zen.
